I am trying to install kali linux in a dual boot with windows 8.1
I allocated approximately 317.48gb in the form of unallocated space for kali. when I tried to install kali it showed three partitions and none of these are real. what should i do to fix it.
the correct partitions

in the installer there are 2 more partitions. one is a ext4 partition of 2 mb. the windows partition shows up right but the free space does show up instead a partition of 330gb shows up. how should I fix this. the partitions also showed up correctly in kali linux live AMD64.

I'm seeing two real-looking partitions in the screenshot you've provided. What do you mean by "not real"?
