I am setting up my Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS desktop. I have used the PAM google-authenticator module before. However now I want to edit which algorithm it uses and how many digits there are, is that possible with this module?

If so, how?

Otherwise, is there a different module I can use where I can customize it?
