I keep coming back to initramfs after installing various linux distros. The live usb works fine but once installed it is only booting to initramfs, forcing mount did not work and reinstalling windows to gracefully shutdown did not work either. The computer is a hp g71 laptop. I am not dual booting i used the whole disk for linux.
