I have a Shuttle mini pc that I use as a server running CentOS 7. I recently acquired a Drobo 5D which is capable of USB 3. I plugged the drobo into the blue USB port in the back of the system. But it doesn't report as being on the USB 3 hub.

# lsusb
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 04f9:0272 Brother Industries, Ltd
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 8087:0024 Intel Corp. Integrated Rate Matching Hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 013: ID 19b9:3444 Data Robotics
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 8087:0024 Intel Corp. Integrated Rate Matching Hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

I moved the USB cable to every single USB port on the device and each time ran lsusb. It showed up on every bus except the USB 3 hub.

Any ideas what to look at next?
