I am using a GParted ISO boot iso image with Hyper-v & an Ubuntu Virtual Machine where I want to resize the volumes after adding more disk space.
Error Message:
[ 0.0085051] PCI: Fatal: No config space access function found
Configuration:
- Windows 10 with Microsoft Hyper-v.
- Ubuntu operating system initially setup with 12GB was expanded to 30GB.
- Microsoft Hyper-V Firmware settings are configured as an EFI SCSI Device of type "DCD Drive: and the "gparted-live-0.33.0-1-i686.iso" is loaded and set to boot first in the boot order.
Steps to duplicate:
- Powering on the VM loads the GParted live cd properly.
- Choosing any of the options: with the exception of to RAM(which hangs) results in the unexpected results{3. Unexpected Results} below.
- GParted Live (Default Settings)
- GParted Live (Default Settings, KMS)
- GParted Live (To RAM, boot media can be removed later)
- GParted Live Safe graphic settings (vga-normal)
