Before installing bumblebee
, nvidia
and bbswitch
, all plasma desktop effects had been working fine and RAM usage according to KSysGuard
was around 330M in idle. After installing those, as per instriction given here, breeze
login screen looks weird, RAM usage in idle is about 270M and some of plasma dsktop effects (e.g. Magic Lamp, Sheet, Wobbly windows, etc.) don't work and in System Setting those are now hidden because the compositor can't support!
I'm not sure but looking at RAM usage it seems like instead of using Intel HD, it is using NVIDIA full-time! Is there any fix to this problem?
