I ask the following question as someone who always used only Bash
I know that the "layer" architecture of any *nix OS is kernel-shell-utility ("from inner to outer").
Are Linux utilities always shell-dependent?
In other words,
if we installed Debian-Server and got, say, 30 CLI utilities with it,
but now we uninstall Bash and use any other shell instead,
Should all these 30 utilities work the same?
I ask this because all these utilities are kernel-dependent but I am not sure if they are all (principally) shell-dependent.
