How to build an DHCP server with ubuntu on KVM ?
I have try some guide but when the DHCP client turn on, the interface will use the IP from the KVM network not from the DHCP server i just build recently.
I have try create a new network edit/connection details/ virtual network with the IPv4 configuration:
Network: 192.168.100.0/24
DHCP range: Disable
Fowarding: NAT
After running VM, I set the interface ens3 with ip address 192.168.100.2 ( state UP) but still no network and i can't update/upgrade package to install isc_dhcp_server
So, how to edit the KVM network so I have a network that not provide DHCP but set static IP still connected to the internet?
ubuntu kvm dhcp isc-dhcpd
