I picked Evolution because it seems to have the most problems with the display. The first thing I'd change is separating the menu bar items in the CUI (File,Edit,View,Message,Folder,Search,Help). My biggest other problems are with contrast. On multiple programs the background is either close to the same as the foreground or is the same, but either way is impossible for me to read and therefore use.

I'm also not sure how much of this is specific to Gnome or KDE, it's possible that both have similar issues. I apologize for my ignorance, but I have a hard time knowing which system is controlling the theme.

I deeply wish I could completely rid my system of any dark themes or at least make sure that never gets used. I'd like to have title bars as well. More details are found in the question at the following stack-ish link:
