I am having a small debugging issue using C++ and TCF ( Target communication framework) in Eclipse IDE.
Eclipse refuses to override / download running code with the latest build.
So I need to remove current running (source) version of the code on target system. Crude but it does the job I need.
I was hoping to use "system" call and have its usage partially figured out.
The "problem" is - I do not know HOW to write a C++ code to emulate terminal.
In my "main: I have
system("sudo -i");
that gets me a response on TCF terminal
root@ARM:~#
where I keep my debugged applications.
and I can manually input there , no problem
The issue is - how do I do it in C++ code ?
cout <<"ls"
does not work.
I am planning to have small C++ app dedicated to the task of removing the older version of the source code.
I can do this manually in running target terminal, however I will need a the ability to "emulate" the target terminal ( in C++ code ) in future debugging.
