I went to the clamav site and they don't have forum to ask question like this.
When I install clamav, the freshclam daemon is running together with clamav. I don't see any purpose the freshclam running as daemon because there was no cronjob created by freshclam to run virus update at specific time. How can we disable freshclam from startup? Why not we just trigger cronjob to run it manually?
