I am trying to get this to work with my arch linux install. I purchased this in hopes to use this for linux and windows. I usually connect via ethernet cable but I recently moved and can't run any ethernet cables.
I have tried installing this using the linux driver (rtl8821AU) that is in AUR and still no go. They have stand alone drivers also I tried to use and still a no go.
http://www.wise-tiger.com/English/Product/3197845043.html
I have wifi-menu, dialog and wpa-supplicant installed.
When I list the usb connected devices, it shows its connected
Bus 001 Device 007: ID 0bda:b812 Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
also when I run dmesg | grep usbcore
[ 379.032105] usbcore: registered new interface driver rtl8xxxu
USB drive is fine, I have also tested others with no result.
Any help getting this installed would be tremendously helpful.
