I'm going to download Debian iso and use etcher to create the OS, saving it to USB or documents. But I want it as the hdd's main OS. With ubuntu, from live USB I can install it.
Is this the only way to transfer a Linux OS, thru use of live USB/DVD, etc ? This is fine so long as my flash drives, etc, do not automatically "mount". With ubuntu, from aforementioned method, they do - I don't want this with Debian. Thx.
