Recently installed CentOS 7.6 on my HP Proliant ML150 Gen9 server which came with kernel version 3.10. Immediately upgrading kernel to latest mainline version 5.0.6 caused the problem which is being not able to go past the kernel selection screen. I end up with a black screen with bunch of errors.
I have another HP Proliant server running the same configuration (kernel 5.0.6) completely fine. Not sure what is missing on my side to go into the login screen

"Bunch of errors" is a bit vague, can you elaborate?
