I'm using ubuntu mate 18.04 and I compiled/installed i3-gaps. In dconf-editor I remember deleting a line that said "window manager" under org.mate.session.required-components and I think that was where I screwed up. Now my login doesnt show an icon for either i3 or marco. My syslog is saying "glib-glio-error:settings schema 'org.mate.session.required-components' does not contain a key named 'i3'
