I have tried several different distros on my Acer laptop, and no matter the distro (currently on fedora), after a few seconds of no user input, the video output freezes, and the same ~1 second audio clip (if playing) loops. As soon as I move the mouse or press a key, everything returns to normal for a few more seconds. I have spent hours trying to find a solution, but every solution I find is either distro specific, or hasn't solved my issue, so I believe it is a kernel issue
