It is totally out of control. It is jumping everywhere, in no particular direction. It is worse when connected to the internet. Adds words /text to body in large amounts. Much worse after ubuntu "fresh install", though it was happening before fresh install, but now 10x's worse. Happens with and without a mouse.

The problem seems to be non-existent with liveusb, ubuntu 18.04.2, which I'm using now; but I need to fix it for my main OS/desktop. Asus-x555lab; 64bit; 18.04.3 ubuntu. My touchpad mouse doesn't seem to be working in any of my OS's.

  • With this little information it is difficult to help. Please edit your question to add more information. What computer do you use? Does this happen after a fresh install? Or after installing/configuring something? Did you try with a different mouse?

  • Apparently you should install the touchegg package and see if that helps.
